Embroidery is suitable for script style names, small artwork, transparent artwork and complex colorful designs. Here are some exmaples of embroidery on different materials.
Felt Patches
Felt patches have a raised, fuzzy appearance and are sewn onto felt backgrounds and cut to size. Typically used as letterman jacket patches. No matter the sport, the mascot, or the letters, felt patches will give you the classic look expected of letterman jacket patches. Patches for letterman jackets may have two layers of different borders, embroidery or chenille layer to get interesting look. Patches are suitable for numbers on sleeves, staggered style or interlocking style letters on chest. Here are some examples of felt patches on letterman jackets, bomber jackets and hoodies.
Sublimation Printing
Basicaly, the artwork is printed onto paper first, then transfered onto fabric using a heat process. In more technical terms, a sublimation printer is a computer printer which employs a printing process that uses heat to transfer dye onto medium materials such as a plastic card, paper, or fabric. The sublimation name is applied because the dye transitions between the solid and gas states without going through a liquid stage. This printing is suiteble for satin jackets / hoodies and cotton twill. We do not use sublimation for single jacket orders.
